Returns Policy

We are a mail order only company.

Distance selling is any selling that is not done face-to-face.  This includes sales transacted by phone, online and by email.  Under distance selling legislation you can choose to return the product you have purchased within 14 days subject to the following:

  • You must notify the seller as soon as you decide to return the item
  • The item must be returned in the same condition in which is was sent, and in its original packaging
  • The item must not have been used
  • The cost of shipping is borne by the buyer
  • This legislation does not cover parts ordered to specification e.g a turbo built to order. Please note distance selling regulations apply to sales to consumers only, as defined under the regulations.  Sales to businesses are not covered by these regulations.

All items for return should be returned to DPD, Depot 41, Dundalk marked for the attention of Commonsense Car Parts. 
For Warranty checks, all items must be returned in their entirety at your own cost, for inspection and determination of cause of failure.
No attempt should be made to disassemble your item. 
Any unauthorised outside repairs or disassembly will void your warranty.
Your warranty does not cover any claims for special, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to, unit removal or installation, equipment down time, prospective profits or any other economic loss, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle, damage to the vehicle or components or other incidental or indirect damage.
Items returned under the warranty will be sent for inspection to determine the cause of failure.
